Three prosecuted for cocaine trafficking may to Viarps airport – Helsingborgs Dagblad

Three men were indicted on Tuesday for trafficking of 18 kilograms of drugs from the Netherlands to Viarps airport outside of Landskrona, writing Kvällsposten.

It was a dramatic police operation late in the afternoon on march 30 at the small airport outside the city of Landskrona.

the Police had already received information that a Cessna plane would land at the airport. In the load there would be drugs.

When the plane landed, waited for the police. Three men, one who stood and waited on the ground, and the two who sat in the aircraft, of which one was the pilot, was arrested. “It was a little like a movie”, told a witness the newspaper talked with.

” I have been in narkotikautredningar since 1990 and I have not encountered any similar case with the aircraft, said prosecutor Stefan Gradler at the international office of the prosecutor, who was the one who would lead the investigation.

the Investigation against the three men are now ready and on Tuesday was charged at the Lund district court.

According to the indictment rented one of the men the aircraft of a flying club in the province of Småland. There were then flown with two persons on 30 march to the Netherlands, first at Groningen and then to a small airfield in the in Drachten.

Even the Dutch police knew that the plane would be used for drug trafficking. They were on site at the airfield and could follow the plane and the men, writes Kvällsposten.

According to the investigation took one of the men there received a bag with drugs in it.

the Aircraft returned on the same day to Sweden with the two men. Late in the afternoon, landed it on the Viarps airport. Where waited the Swedish police and arrested the three who are now prosecuted.

Two of the men, one of whom is the pilot. is resident in the Stockholstrakten, the third from the Jönköpingstrakten.
