Liberal Youth in Stockholm has aroused strong reactions on social media after the union’s annual meeting this weekend. The people reacted to include that district want to siblings who are over 15 years of age to have sexual intercourse.

– We want consenting siblings to have sex with each other when they are over 15 years if they want the. The state should not decide who to sleep with, says Cecilia Johnsson district LUF Stockholm.

Today prohibits sexual intercourse between siblings in Sweden and you can be sentenced to up to one year in prison on you violate the ban. However, it is legal to half siblings have sex. In some countries such as France and the Netherlands, incest is completely legalized.

The second part is about to make it legally with necrophilia – that people should have the right over her own body even after his death.

– It is simply that you get to decide whether you want to donate it for research, museum, donation or if you want to bequeath to someone to sleep with it. It is your choice, not the state, says Johnsson.

Are you surprised that people react?

– Firstly, I feel that people misunderstood us. But then we were quite prepared for that people would respond, but we will not be silent if we think something just because people could use it against us, says Johnsson.

Liberal Youth at national level consider that the state should not moralize about adult human choice of sexual partner.

– I am extremely proud that one dare raise these issues and it is important in youth. Since current decisions themselves and how they were produced, I think it is very unfair how the district processed online and misinterpreted, says Thea Andersson Union Secretary LUF nationally.

But none of points above is something that the mother party endorses.

– We believe that both of these points will continue to be illegal and do not share the district’s opinions, says Adam Alfredsson press secretary for the Liberals (former Liberal party).
