A different life-saving efforts have taken place outside Boden. There was a woman who saw a wounded deer in the Lule River late on Thursday afternoon.
– She jumped into the water and managed to get up the deer, says Hans Oster Lundh, duty officer at the police in Norrbotten.
Unfortunately, the story got a sad ending. The deer was so badly damaged, probably after being run over, that the police were forced to kill the animal.
The woman escaped without injuries, but were cooled down.
