Investment in the environment in the spring budget – Västerbotten Courier

The government is investing in the spring budget 430 million on a proposal for protection and management of valuable nature. The total includes 50 million to the authorities and work for a healthier environment, according to a press release.

The government wants to, inter alia rehabilitate trails and give endangered species refuge in protected forests.

the press release says that investments in natural and marine environment will increase by 4.3 billion during the mandate period.

Right now klimatÂ- and Environment Minister Åsa Romson (MP) and Deputy Minister of Finance Per Bo (MP) attend a press conference to present further details about the proposal. The press conference will begin with a nature hike on the northern island of Djurgården in Stockholm.
