Today was released worldwide celebrity Arthur finally out of quarantine.
It was a happy Arthur who met the large press call-up at animal hospital in Bagarmossen.

What was it meet again?
– It was wonderful to meet you this morning. We both had a lot of running in the legs so the first thing we did was to run off some of the forest that he has been watching from quarantine, says Mikael Lind North.
A massive media attention was waiting for Arthur and Magnus Huss Michael when they arrived at Anicuras Animal Hospital shortly after 7:00 this morning.
– He has eaten up and become a bit finer in the coat now, when we first met him, he looked like a svintotuss, says Mikael Lind North.
7-year-old street dog Arthur became a world celebrity when he hung out with adventure racing team Peak Performance on an epic journey through the Ecuadorian jungle. The team captain Mikael Lind North became so fond of the dog that he took Arthur home to Sweden. Since then the dog has been quarantined.
Successful surgery – groggy dog
As Aftonbladet reported yesterday, Mikael Lind North and his family came to visit Arthur in Vallentuna on several occasions. But now it’s time for Arthur to get to go to his new home in Örnsköldsvik. Or soon, anyway.
First, Arthur recover after their dental visits. Shortly after 14 o’clock today met a groggy Arthur press for the second time during the day. All people in combination with sleep medicine from surgery led to Arthur happened to do a little accident in the press room.
But otherwise everything was fine with the hero dog after surgery. The vet Boel Sandro told the gathered press corps that the surgery had gone well. Arthur got whacked all of their teeth and are now ready for their new life in Sweden.
A dog with special psyche
At 17:00 on Friday afternoon, Arthur and Michael Lindnord ready for a private interview in the hotel room the family lives in over the weekend. Arthur was still a bit tired after the surgery but in good humor and lay safely at Michael’s feet.
– He has a special psyche. He’s very confident in himself. He has just come out of quarantine and he’s so quiet here. It’s a dog with iron psyche and he is very easy to like, says Mikael Lind North.
The story of Arthur has enthralled the world. At the press conference this afternoon was there except reporters from all over Sweden, also a reporter team from the British Daily Mail. And so well-American radio that the German press has interviewed Michael during the day.

– The story we did about Arthur last fall became our most clicked ever, she says over the phone to Aftonbladet.
Last night she interviewed Michael Lindnord again expects that the story of Arthur’s release will be just as popular as the first.
– It is an absolutely amazing story simply, it touches and lights up in an otherwise dark world, she says.
“Man is starved of good news”
Michael Lindnord are on the same theory about why the story of street dogs become so popular.
– Much of the media’s focus is always on misery. Today was shooting in Gothenburg and then we have the IS in the Middle East. But when it comes a sunshine story like this so trapped people. I think people are a little craving good news, he said.
The interview request that the family Lindnord was most surprised was from a Japanese TV crew.
– There are two Japanese to us in Örnsköldsvik on Tuesday. They have booked up six hours with us, and they require exclusivity in Japan, says Michael.
At the last round, when the story of Arthur and sports team first came out was the media circus almost overpowering for Mikael Lind North.
– I would not use the word burned out, but there was very little sleep then. People phoned from throughout the world for interviews, and all had different time zones so it went in, says Michael.
The media circus took one more turn when it was revealed that Arthur might have a different owner, a man in Ecuador . The man said he missed his beloved dog
– It appeared that we were only some kind of cowboys who went and picked up the dog. So it was not at all. Had we not done that Arthur had died. I’ve said it before, if there was another owner so it should not get to be dog owners, says Michael.
Now waiting for the next step in Arthur’s life. In a safe home in Örnsköldsvik. But maybe pull media circus started again when the story of Arthur’s life gets to film. There are already advanced plans for it.
– Hollywood is clear that they want to make a big movie of the story. But Arthur will not play himself. Now he will become a real part of our family, says Mikael Lind North.
In an earlier version of the text, it was in one of the final pieces to Arthur’s safe homes waited in Östersund. So it is obviously not a secure home waiting in Örnsköldsvik.
