Education Proposal for better integration – Västerbotten Courier

Now the Government presents additional parts in the fast track to integration. Newcomers certified teachers should be able to be employed in schools to work as tutors in the native language.

Education Gustav Fridolin (MP) and secondary and education initiative Minister Aida Hadzialic (S) gathers several old and new proposals to dress Government’s initiative on improved integration.

– We want to provide the opportunity for those who have teacher training to start working in school, as tutors in the native language, says Gustav Fridolin.

Many of them will have already Teacher from home, but can not work in their profession directly since it requires supplementation. Where the government wants to discuss with local authorities how their skills can be used more quickly. The idea is that municipalities must employ those who have foreign teacher qualifications so that they enter the school, and helps newly arrived pupils with language and supervision. Though there is not any money related to the proposal

– There we hold talks with municipalities and make a deal, in which the state, for example, stands for the training of teachers, so that municipalities can feel safe to those who are employed are registered teachers quickly, he said.

Other elements of education policy which aims to improve integration is a proposal presented earlier, as better identification of students’ knowledge, better validation system for teacher competence and a personalized SFI training.
