Dog Trap: Chicken stuffed with staples – Expressen

Dog Trap: Chicken stuffed with staples – Expressen

In the evening walk found the dog Nellie a bone to chew on.

But the mischief was a sawed-off drumstick that was full of staples.

– It’s crazy and obviously someone who wants dogs bad that has done this, says Nellie math Elisabeth Holm now warn other dog owners on Facebook.

She did nasty discovery at 19 o’clock on Wednesday evening during the walk with Nellie, an English bulldog, in the areas around Ribevägen.

– Nellie went and sniffed as she usually around lampposts when I heard that she had something in her mouth, says Elisabeth Holm.

very many staples

She looked immediately for what it was and was more or less a shock.

– It was cut in a drumstick, a very sharp, with many many staples around it.

The leg was placed in the tall grass around the lamppost and just 100 meters away, at another lamppost, found Elisabeth another drumstick. Although the cut and filled with staples.

Elisabeth there is no doubt that someone has hidden the bones in the grass, probably with intention to harm dogs.

– It appears that someone has done this on purpose. The clips are hooked and they hang around the legs, they stand out. And both legs were hidden in the grass where the dogs usually go and smell, she says.

Harmful to flush stomach

Elisabeth immediately went home and called animal hospital. There is no sign that Nellie has been taking any staples or otherwise marred by the dangerous chicken leg she had in her mouth.

– They can not do much. If they magpumpar her, any staples or other damage on the way up, but at present there is nothing to suggest that she is injured, says Elisabeth Holm.

After the nasty finds she warned other dog owners in the neighborhood. She also wrote a post on Facebook that in a short time has been great.

“Totally sick”

– Unfortunately, I think that there is someone who has put their legs on purpose. It’s crazy, I do not understand how one might want to do this, says Elisabeth Holm urging dog owners in Malmö to be extra careful and attentive.

– Especially now when it’s so dark outside, it may go fast when the dog finds something.

The incident is reported to police, there is no record of any suspect.
